Play with Friends Request
If you are a social player and just want to play with your friends this year, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
To submit a "Play with Friends Request" you must fill in this online form which can be found on our Team Grader App. Requests must be submitted by the due date for your request to be considered, as having the teams worked out in time for trial matches, is essential.

Q. Do I need to have a full team to make a ‘Play with Friends’ request?
A. No, you don’t need a full team. You can submit a Play with Friends request with just a few players.

Q. I am having trouble understanding how to fill in the form?

Q. Does every player need to fill in a form?
A. NO! Please ONLY ONE submission per request. One parent submits the form on behalf of the group. Please note, to enable easy admin, this parent will be considered the ‘manager’ of the team until we are advised differently.
Q. What information is needed to submit the form?
A. The following details are needed from each players: Name, DOB, FFA Id Number, Contact email
Q. Why do you need each player's details to submit the form?
A. This process ensures that each child's parents have been consulted and agree to have their child's name added to your group's play with friends request.
Playing with Friends FAQ’s
Q. How to complete the Play with Friends Request form:
A. Go to Team Grader
Select Play with Friends/New Play with Friends Request
Scroll to find appropriate age group.
Select New Request - NB make a note of 'Request Reference' eg FR2
Enter the parent details. At this point you can't submit the request - you need to SAVE Request to continue.
An email confirming the details of your request, including a link to edit/add players will be sent you.
There are a few ways to Enter Player details onto the form.
To retrieve players from last year's team simply select the age group and team name and Copy to Team
Use the players FFA number to search for them.
To add New Players complete their details and select Add to Team
You can save the team details each time you update a player and come back to it at a later time.
Once you have all the players enter and you are ready to finalise the request, press the submit button for review by your Age Coordinator.
NB An email will be sent to all members on the request, so please ensure that their contact details are correct
Q. Once submitted how do I go back and find "My Play with Friends Request?"
A. Go to Team Grader. From the Drop down menu select: Play with Friends/Find my Play with Friends Request. NB You will need the Age Group and Team Name the request was made under.
Q. I want to play with friends, do I still need to come to grading?
A. Yes! All players are encouraged to attend at least one grading session so that the overall standard of each team can be assessed and the appropriate NSFA division requested.
Q. How do I let LFC know I want to 'Play in a team with Friends'?
A. You can submit a request via the online form also found on Team Grader.
